I ordered my '23 T body today from Spirit....one step closer to my goal of driving a t bucket someday.
Good luck! I have many hours invested into adapting a caddi tilt/telescoping column and a minivan seat, as well as building pedals, linkage, and a custom shifter to try to make my ‘23 standard somewhat doable... it’s manual shift also and there isn’t much room for me in between the controls. I would have stretched the frame and body but I would have had to basically redo the entire rear suspension as everything is tied to the transmission cross member. If I were to build another with what I now know, it woukd be longer and maybe wider. I do love the short body, bob tail look, time will tell if I can actually enjoy it from a drivers perspective. Well, that is if I can ever get back into working on it, damned life keeps getting in the way!I went with the regular body....I'm hoping with a tilt steering column and the racing seats, my long legs won't be a problem......too much. .Congrats . .
Now we get to wait patiently, as if that's remotely possible.
Did you get the regular or one of the deluxe or extended ones?
I ordered a Spirit '27 superkit about 2 weeks ago, and was told 15 to 20 weeks was the lead time . . just in time for Santa to bring it

15_ 20 weeks is ,in my opinion , RIDICULOUS !!!
The body came today, thanks Spirit Cars.
I can think of worse way to leave this life!!!even though my wife now calls it the "death trap".
When I'm on the floor, I put the chain hook on a belt loop.....then I can pull myself up off the garage floor with the chain hoist.
My wife told me she won't ride in a car with a flimsy fiberglass body and a plywood floor.........I told her my girlfriend would.Sounds like my wife. However, when I completed it, she did comment that is was "cute!" Still won't ride in it, though.
