Internet Explorer zero-day exploit
It seems IE has fallen victim to yet another zero-day exploit, people. Microsoft has released a "Fix it", but it seems this one is only good on 32 bit versions of the plagued browser. And please note, the Fix it is not a permanent cure for the problem, so you will want to make sure to apply all forthcoming Microsoft patches.
It has been confirmed that all versions of IE are affected by the exploit.
I had a pretty good laugh, when I say this quote on the linked page -
1. Debian Linux
2. Mozilla's Firefox browser
3. Linux Mint
4. Google's Chrome browser
5. Arch Linux
6. Apple's Safari browser
7. Zorin Linux
8. Opera browser
9. ...well, you get the idea.
Seriously, if you look at the Navigation module in the right side-column of the forum home page, you will see a Mozilla Firefox link. Click the link, download the software and install it. You will have a stable and secure browser that will not have all the security issues of Internet Exploder. In this day and age, I cannot imagine why anyone would want to run a Web browser with IE's track history.
