A 50 year old bucket that’s been in hiding for 40+ years! What a great find. I didn’t exactly hear what happened to it. Was it stolen? Did the builder sell it to someone that put it in storage for 40 years? What’s it’s value now?

I think after many years on the show circuit it was getting a little frayed, and the owner decided to put it in mothballs until a rebuild was possible. Took longer than expected!

I had a chance to see the "Uncertain T" this weekend at the Grand National Roadster Show. It has seen better days. I thought the spindle arms were unique.

Some of the rumors are that it going to be restored. There was a look a like at Starbird show a few years ago. It is claimed that this one above was stored for 40/50 years. I will go though my Starbird show photos and see if I can fine the one that I saw.

Sad that it's been allowed to deteriorate that far, probably big $$$ to restore now.

Those spindles may be stock Anglia spindles. I had a set years ago and from what I remember that’s what they looked like.
