New T bucket owner

Cool pics, bro! I'm intrigued by your 'lift' - how'd you get the car up there?

PS - You have what we call a 'tunneled dash' and an insert can be wood, metal or anything you want. Some have even gone the 'engine-turned' look.

The 'lift' was done by the previous owner. He had a couple D rings in the ceiling that he attached chains and hoists to, to get it up and down I'm told. I didn't take it, but I still may. I got it home and it's really low to the ground. The underside is so nice I'm afraid to jack stand it. So, I might go back up and grab that contraption.

Tunneled dash - good to know. The insert I have now is wood covered in the seat material. I think I'm going to remove the gauges and material and use it if it's in decent shape. I want to paint it to match the gold leaf type striping.

I've got some work to do but the bucket is super nice. This guys attention to detail is unreal. Can't wait to get it on the road. The wheels are original magnesium Halibrands. Not sure I would have chromed them, but previous owner did.
