Oldy but Goody

T-Test, that's pretty interesting. Great prices!! Do you know what year that was from? If I could get those prices again, I'd build a few more!

I've had that from about 1980 when I started building these things. Found a bunch of stuff on an ol computer I had back in them days.

It's sometimes fun to look back and see what was available back in the "olden days"! And see the prices.

A little lite bulb blinked when I saw the name Kellison , as in
Kellison GT kit cars !!! Memory isn't completely gone ...lol....

Value and DURABLE GOODS are a thing of the past these days for everything and everyone is expendable /replaceable.

Not many places left where you can get your monies worth.

I have a total performace car ,how many years did they make t buckets? I have a assembly manual from them. Like new. It has a lot of info on building a 1923 t bucket .had it for years. Says $25 on the cover.i have used it for a reference at times.

1st I saw of Mickey Lauria was a 1970 mag picture of his T , I don't know when he started manufacturing but roughly mid-70s to early 2000s ...as an observation , there's some " silly" stuff in those manuals like measuring to 1/64" for a radii , I think more like Ford 9/32" bolts than engineering necessity, I.e. exclusivity !!...

I spent hours drooling through various performance parts mail order catalogs... always wanted to build a replica cobra after being close to a couple. One at Dick Masheter Ford, it was Dicks, and one at Ohio Mustang Connection back in the ‘80’s. I still have a brand new set if silvolite cast .060 pistons for a Pontiac from California Discount wharehouse Performance Parts... they sent the wrong ones and never sent a return authorization.... been on the shelf for a lot of years...

Fletcher son , you mean Performance Automotive Warehouse. , ie. PAW ??...... I wonder who bought thier inventory , ???

Yep, sorry, my memory isn’t as good as it once was. They had really good deals on internal parts. I used to see their ads in car quest, hot rod, etc. I only stopped buying from them because we had a local place called ERS, engine rebuilders supply, that moved in and had good parts, good prices, and was local. Not so much now. That was when Super Shops was still going strong, Jeggs was building engines and chassis for the public and cruising was still the thing. I lived in Circleville in the late ‘70’s, early ‘80’s and it was the cruising place to be... not now. Miss those days!

FYI, Mickey told me Total Performance made 3473 chassis, and they started in the late 70's, Speedway has all of the TP info now.
